From November 2nd to 3rd, 2021, FIMRO GmbH in Halberstadt organized the foundry industry seminar for the 8th time. The conference was held at the Harzer Kultur- und Kongresshotel in Wernigerode.

The symposium was planned last year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of FIMRO GmbH, but it was postponed to 2021 due to corona. Before the event, the participants took the opportunity to visit FIMRO GmbH to get an impression of the company and its employees. The Mayor of Halberstadt, Mr. Szarata, and the Minister of Economy, Urban Planning and Culture, Mr. Rimpler, also took advantage of this opportunity. At the Harzer Kultur- und Kongresshotel conference venue in Wernigerode, this year's participants can learn about current developments in mechanical engineering, applications, services and research through 15 lectures. This year's series of lectures focused on the development of the die casting industry in the past 25 years since the establishment of the company, as well as future challenges and trends. More than 80 guests and speakers not only came from Germany, but also from neighboring countries. Therefore, the conference continued to develop into an international event.

In the future, the family business will be succeeded by Mr. Matthias Mrochen, who has served as the managing director of the company for several years. During the break and subsequent evening activities, participants made full use of opportunities to exchange experiences and network.
