Next Level Racing has expanded its sim racing cockpit range even further, with the new GTElite offering a more affordable aluminium profile rig.

Next Level Racing’s sim racing cockpit range has grown even wider today (4th April), following the reveal of the GTElite – a new mid-range sim racing cockpit featuring aluminium profile.

Not to be confused with the range-topping F-GT Elite, the GTElite takes several of those class-leading features and implements them in a more affordable product.

As a cockpit that uses aluminium profile, the aim is to provide endless flexibility with accessories and peripherals. This means a handbrake, or a seat – for example – can be affixed in your exactly ideal location. The pre-machined holes should make this a breeze if Next Level Racing‘s previous rigs are anything to go by.

The base frame is fully enclosed to aid with rigidity, a key factor when selecting a cockpit, while componentry includes bespoke end-caps and an anodised black metal finish. It almost goes without saying that the setup is compatible with all major sim racing peripheral manufacturers.

8mm thick carbon steel is used for the pedal mounting plates and wheel/wheel base mounting areas.

It’s also fully compatible with the Motion Plus Platform, should you decide for additional immersion further down the line, along with a suite of Next Level Racing optional accessories.

The GTElite is available in two variants: GTElite Wheel Plate Edition and Front & Side Mount Edition. The Wheel Plate version is designed for wheels that usually affix to a table easily, e.g. Thrustmaster T248, while the Side Mount is for the more powerful direct drive wheels such as a Simucube 2 Sport.

Each model comes bundled with the Next Level Racing seat slider system, seat brackets, height-adjustable absorption feet, gear shift and handbrake support plat, cable management clips, a tool kit holder and a Buttkicker Gamer 2 adaptor.

Both models are available to order right now. The GTElite Wheel Plate Edition costs $699/€699/£649 – compared to the £999/$1,009 for the range-topping F-GT Elite – while the GTElite Front & Side Mount Edition is $799/€799/£749.
