Optimization in the field of peripheral equipment and process media
New awards for European die castings: The German Die Casting Association and trade fair EUROGUSS organized the European Die Casting Competition for the first time. It aims to demonstrate the application diversity, innovative strength, high quality and performance of die-casting processes of aluminum, magnesium and zinc materials.
The award also won the German Foundry Industry eV Federal Association (Bundesverband der Deutschen Gießerei-Industrie eV-BDG), the Aluminum Industry General Association (Gesamtverband der Aluminiumindustrie eV-GDA) and the European Magnesium Research Association eV (Europäischen Forschungsgemeinschaft Magnesium eV-EV-EFM).
Entries will be individually evaluated in the materials and evaluated based on innovation, quality, cost-effectiveness, resource-efficient design and difficulty. Subsequently, the three best parts of each material will be awarded. The evaluation and selection of castings will be conducted by a competent jury from research and industry.
Die casting competition: these are the winners
The winners will be announced at the opening event of EUROGUSS 2022 on January 17, 2022. At the awards ceremony on January 18, 2022, prizes will be presented during the press conference, along with certificates and the EUROGUSS die-casting award. The decision of the jury will be communicated to the winners in writing in early December 2021. In addition, the participants of the opening event will vote for the audience award from the 1st to 3rd place of their respective materials on the evening of January 17, 2022.
